CTV... bringing you the latest...

...cutting-edge, world-shaking news events...

Participants are encouraged to bring extra footwear for tossing, but organizers say shoes will be provided at the rally.
What is actually dumber here... being a participant... or reporting on this like it's a life-altering event?

Do any of these people not have actual lives?

RELATED: Oh CTV... what a shame...

...they got a big "shoe story" and ran out of room for anything else...
At bottom, the Blagojevich episode -- whether it involves Obama himself or people close to him such as Emanuel or Axelrod -- demonstrates the disconnect between Obama's deeds and his high-sounding words.

He talks tirelessly about reform but was an unobjecting beneficiary of the machine who did not reform it.

Neo

Rumor has it organizers have recruited Imelda Marcos to lead the protest because freedom, shoes and and the Marcos legacy are synonymous.

No surprises here, "if the shoe fits" sorry anyway these are the same people that have zero interest in th 51 billion the Cretin and Paul jr stole from the EI fund I hear they raided the civil service pension also. Then there is the small matter of when the coalition plot was hatched by "subdized housing Jack" and is Power corp a "sponsor" of the Iggster??. Bashing Bush hey thats news!

CTV is the only organization which is more biased and trivial than the Zee_Bee_Zee.

The administration of this bunch of twits, should be put in a leaky life boat and dropped off in the North Atlantic.

a "shoe tossing rally"... a perfect metaphor for canada's lunatic left.

i'm curious to know... what other quaint middle-eastern customs will these fuzzy-bunny drones choose to adopt?

What is rich here is that when Obammie gets in, he will be more of a hard-liner than Bush was. Watch the hapless media try to hide the truth from conservatives and placate their leftist friends. (real conservative)

I don't know about this shoe toss idea but I do know where I'd like to plant one.

Anonymous@1244,

Yes they did raid the Public Service pension fund. They also raided the Canadian Forces pension fund, which had a surplus of around 30 billion.

Ah, ctv, the memories, so long ago but still so, so funny..

Recall when they bomb blasted their 6 o'cock news cast (Montreal) with headlines of the planet jupiter or whatever, was going to be on the horizon that night bigger than the moon!!!
Yep they were broadcasting the event of a hoax email as facts, haven't bothered to watch them since.
Especially when they said not a word to correct the idiocy so blatantly displayed.

A few days ago Joel @ Proud to Be Canadian had a vid with Condi Rice handing it to a 'reporter' who drilled her on the shoe throwing. Condi twice told the so-called reporter that MSM neglected to report history in the making because they focused on the shoes.

In fact, the tossers were encouraging reporters to drop their pretence of objectivity and join in the shoe throw to show solidarity with the Iraqi reporter now in custody.
