Two Thumbs Up
When's the last time you heard an Auditor-General say something positive about the government?
-- KANDAHAR, Afghanistan -- Auditor General Sheila Fraser wrapped up a five-day visit to Afghanistan on Friday, impressed with what she saw but concerned about the fate of Canadian projects after the pullout next year.Just don't expect to see that particular soundbite on CBC.
"There's really a strong development component to the mission, which I don't think Canadians are aware of and how important that is," Fraser said.

With the lib media in the U.S. it's Hopenchange
....here it's Hatenlie
Yes, and that "strong component" doesn't bleed, so it doesn't lead...
"Just don't expect to see that particular soundbite on CBC. "
It led the CBC national news all morning.
''It led the CBC national news all morning.''
Oh my,
are they a wee bit concerned all this prorogygate stuff will lead to an election Mr Iffy will lose very very badly????
Main Liberal cheerleader Susan Riley was vicious on Mr Iffy today too.

"balbullyboy protests... It led the CBC national news all morning."
that's funny... i just came from the cbc website and there doesn't appear to be a whiff of it anywhere.
i guess that's why you didn't supply a url?

It's here. On CBC website and television. Of course, it makes sense that when the Auditor General has something to say, a publicly funded agency would pay attention. After all, she could very well also have something to say about what a waste of money Mother Corpse really is, so it's best to play up to her.
Now, if we could get something out of Mother Corpse's coverage of the Afghan war that is more than just body counts when someone with that sort of potential influence isn't part of the story....
Nah. Fergitit. That'll never happen.
BTW, I did have to do a search on CBC's website with the terms Sheila Fraser and Afghanistan to find those. I guess it must have been one of those 15 minutes of fame things, unlike torture of Taliban operatives by Afghan police and prorogation of parliament, the coverage of which go on and on and on and on and on and on..........
"i guess that's why you didn't supply a url?"
No. I didn't supply a URL because I listen to the radio.
Thank you for confirming that Neo was wrong, Louise.

"louise said... I did have to do a search on CBC's website"
unlike all the prorogue coverage... which has been (and continues to be) front & centre... all prorogue, all the time. funny how that works, huh?
and yes, bullyboy... no surprise that you drink the perpetual pinko look-ade... my guess is you'd bathe in it if you could.
and hey... the cbc actually reported some news that didn't try to trash the conservative government. woo-hoo... there's a victory for the lunatic left.
note too... that it was a blogging tory who went and found this... thx louise.

"that it was a blogging tory who went and found this..."
Yes, it was a Blogging Tory who confirmed you were wrong.
Thanks Louise.

so bully... you've come back three times to revel in this, uh... "victory"?
funny... not a single word (for or against) about the auditor-general confirming the value of what our troops are accomplishing in afghanistan. but that's how you guys roll, isn't it?
"Stoogeleft/Balbulican says... I don't really give a rat's ass about your opinion."
for a guy who doesn't really care... you sure show up an awful lot... and offer up such articulate commentary.
remind me again... how old are you... seven?
good grief.

Now neo, Balbull is attempting to communicate as best he can, let's cut him a bit of slack and maybe offer some words of encouragement...something to the effect of..."oh, good point Balbull, thanks buddy"...and then send him on his merry way home hoping he doesn't get lost...or fall off his bicycle.
Wow, that's a complicated way of saying "I was wrong", isn't it?

again, jethro... not a single word (for or against) about the auditor-general confirming the value of what our troops are accomplishing in afghanistan.
just another infantile troll.
