Come one, come all...

...to a magical land... where unicorns sh*t whole grain, low fat muffins... and gold coins rain down from the skies.

Just liberals doing what they do best: pandering to immigrants so that they can eventually destroy the rest of us that 'just don't get it.' (real conservative)

This is a complete insult to Canadians who have worked their whole lives, (or most of their lives) paying into the Canada Pension Plan to help with their own retirement.

We Can do better then Ruby Dhalla

The other thing - from the NP comments thread - is that the countries that these "family reunification" immigrants come from, will still mail to them their "old country" government pension cheques every month, even if it's much less than what Canada could pay them.

Double-dipping. Another proud tradition of the Liberal Party of Canada.

People who have "The Dumb" and vote for corrupt Liberals should pay for their stupid ideas, there are enough of them that they could raise millions of dollars and dump that cash anywhere they like - the Liberal Party wouldn't even have to steal it if Liberal voters put their own money where they put their votes.

phil... you can actually come up with more than the one comment every time... right?

no offense... but it's not adding that much to the dialogue.

maybe try taking it up a bit?

I though the whole point of sponsoring your family (parents) was that you would pay for their expenses in return for an easier chance at obtaining approval for immigration for people that otherwise would be denied?

Honestly I think this is just Ruby's way of desperately trying to protect her seat because she knows the big whallop is coming should there be an election. Especially since she has had some recent blunders. She's always been a no substance all presence kind of MP.

"langmann says... just Ruby's way of desperately trying to protect her seat"

it might help ruby personally in her constituency... but it hurts the liberal party at large.

guess i can live with that.
