The Canadian Press Harris-Decima poll suggests interest in the swine flu vaccine has declined in Canada, with only a third of people now saying they will get the shot, compared to 45 per cent in late August.
Ironically the poll findings come at a time when the federal government is under intense pressure to fast-track approval of the H1N1 vaccine so that immunization efforts can begin sooner than the projected early November launch.
Canada has purchased 50.4 million doses of the pandemic vaccine.

Well, I can hear Warren Kinsella now, about all that wasted money the Tories spent on unused vaccine....

call me wacky, but i'm thinkin' warren might actually have a few more things to worry about this week than his usual sniping from the hedgerows.

Oh, he'll worry, but his modus operandi is to obfuscate like a terrified squid...to re-use an old cliche, Harper could walk from Cape Breton to Newfoundland on water and Kinsella would point out that the Tories were taking jobs away from the ferries...

"jag says... obfuscate like a terrified squid"
