Remember how Premier McSlippery...

...promised he wasn't gonna raise your taxes?

Well, the joke's on you... again.

-- TORONTO -- Conservative leader Tim Hudak said, Thursday, that the $24.7-billion deficit Ontario now faces represents a shameful performance by the Premier and Finance Minister Dwight Duncan.

Hudak added that the Finance Ministers economic statement effectively adds another $13,500 in debt for every single household in the province.

Wow. What a path of destruction Premier McGuinty and his Liberals have led Ontario down. It will take years to recover, this is worse than the incompetence of Bob Rae.

Ignatieff made a mistake...one that is debatable anyway, seeing as how the Canadian government made no significant effort to repatriate Maher Arar and left him to the US (and Syria's) whims.

On the other hand, Hudak arranged a Canadians for Bush rally in support of the Iraq War, and he hasn't made any effort to explain himself in this regard (whereas Ignatieff has tried to explain his remarks vis-a-vis torture). Ignatieff made a mistake of fact, that is debatable. Hudak made a mistake of judgement. I assert that the latter is much more egregious and dangerous.

Also, Hudak is a religious nutbar...which is the supernatural nonsense I was alluding to. He may not be a scientologist (although some people say that he is), but it's all the same manner of stupidity.
