A Strategic Counsel poll conducted for The Globe and Mail and CTV says Conservative support has risen to 41 per cent nationally – a six-point jump from a month ago.
The Liberals, however have seen their country-wide support drop two points to 28 per cent. In the rest of Canada outside Quebec, Michael Ignatieff's Liberals have seen voter backing fall sharply, shedding seven percentage points to 26 per cent.

We need to peak at about 45 points and keep in this range for several polls in a row. Then I would go for an election. Issues are needed of course. Economy being one of them. (real conservative)
And this is without a lot of support in Quebec, so will they wake up and smell the roses or be ignorant and still vote bloc and liberal.
And another senate seat opens up tomorrow.
Heck I thought Dion was a dork - but Iggy has got to be the most pathetic excuse for a leader ever. Its almost getting painful and embarrassing to watch him stumble day after day even for a die hard Tory like myself. Its downright nauseating how the MSM still coddles him. I wish he would do the country a big favor and go back to Boston where he belongs. God, why would Boston want him? Mercifully he should be gone by Christmas and off to Bermuda with Zsa Zsa.

I think it might take another poll or two but Quebecers don't like being on the losing team . Steady as she goes . It's going to take more than the scandal of the week to turn things around for the liberals now .

Let’s not give all the credit to Iffy for these positive numbers. The people who had the Count anointed leader have to be given some credit too, and let’s not forget the ass kickin imbeciles who gifted us with the “Host” scandal.
