I don't get it...

Mayor Miller's office... yet again... strangely silent on which Toronto gun clubs are involved in these two incidents...
A 16-year-old boy is recovering after he was shot in the chest in the city's east end last night.

Police combed 200 Brenyon Way, in the Sheppard Ave. and Neilson Rd. area, for two teenage suspects after shots rang out just before 10 p.m.
And an hour later...
A man is recovering from a gunshot wound after bullets flew at an east Toronto subway station.

The 24-year-old victim was shot in the stomach after a fight reportedly broke out on the bus platform at Main station around 11pm Thursday.
Of course, the shootings themselves are inconsequential... there are bigger fish to fry.

UPDATE: Root causes, my ass...
"There was an argument over a bike," Const. Tony Vella said. "The other (teenaged boy) walked away, but he returned moments later with a gun and shot the 16-year-old in the left side of his chest."

The shooter, believed to be between 15 and 18 years old, fled on foot. Police dogs were brought in to search the area, but no arrests were made.

Residents said there have been two shootings at the complex in the last year and countless other incidents of violence in the area.

RELATED: And yes... another one
It's been several days since a 31-year-old woman was viciously stabbed to death in her North York apartment and her killer remains on the loose.

“It’s a horrific scene,” Skubic said, adding he was still waiting to be granted a search warrant to begin collecting evidence from inside the apartment.
