To be kept locked up... in Dalton McGuinty's socialist paradise?
A Scarborough dad facing three counts of attempted murder for allegedly using his minivan to run down his daughter, her boyfriend and his son-in-law was ordered released on $110,000 bail yesterday.
Oh yeah, he's not a sociopath... he's a gentleman.
"This gentleman is really not a threat to anybody at all," said defence lawyer Mike Engle after his client, Selvanayagam Selladurai, 43, was freed by Superior Court Justice Faye McWatt.
I've gotta confess... I don't have any errant teenage daughters... but running them over with an automobile, for whatever reason, seems a little over-the-top.
In June, the father was driving around looking for his daughter who had not come home for a couple of days. He spotted her across the street from her high school, Stephen Leacock Collegiate, and apparently became enraged, Toronto Police alleged.
