Your money... his friends

CAUSE...

The David Suzuki Foundation received between $100,000 and $250,000 from the government-affiliated Ontario Trillium Foundation in 2010. --
AND EFFECT...
In the video, Suzuki praises McGuity’s green initiatives, saying “I happen to applaud the future he’s leading us into.”
Hmmm... fanatical eco-nauts & shamelessly manipulative politicians climbing into bed and slathering themselves with taxpayer moola... what could possibly go wrong?
In the letters sent to the House Energy and Commerce Committee's Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, attorneys for Solyndra CEO Brian Harrison and CFO W. G. Stover said they advised their clients not to provide testimony during the hearings.

The bankrupt company's $535 million federal loan guarantee is being investigated by the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

And in return for all that cash, and other benefits, isn't the Suzuki foundation required to be non-partisan?
Or is there a special exemption if you're as nutty as an Oh Henry bar?

"platty asks... isn't the Suzuki foundation required to be non-partisan?"

hmmm...

"According to the Canada Revenue Agency website, registered charities 'cannot be involved in partisan political activities,' including “attempts to sway public opinion on social issues."

then again... rules are for "little people"... not canadian icons... right?

Funny how the left continually re-writes the rule when it serves their purposes, eh:

- a supposedly apolitical page holds up a sign in the House: no problem!

- a supposedly respectable (cough, cough) organization like the Council of Canadians forges documents using official government templates: no problem, its a joke, see!

- supposed green ideas are stuffed with taxpayer cash and some is kicked back to the politicians, in dollars or "services in kind": no problem, unless conservatives do it!

Meanwhile, each "green" job in Spain costs over 500,000 Euros. Much like a kid convincing himself that her mudpie is actually chocolate, eventually the economy is gonna throw up.

"jag says... the left continually re-writes the rule when it serves their purposes"

but even that is more intelligent than the braindead trollbot who keeps dropping me the "heil harper" a dozen times a day.

i swear... it's like shooting fish in a barrel.
