Mummy... what's "gentle moolytashum?"

The Toronto District School Board... solving the world's problems... (witness International Day of Zero-Tolerance on Female Genital Cutting/Mutilation)... one day at a time...
what... no remember amy winehouse dayOf course, no matter how worthy the agenda... there's always some tightass, interfering "stick in the mud"... who can't get with the politburo, er... programme...

TORONTO — While flipping through his six-year-old son’s new student planner Monday night, Jaak Purres was shocked to see some pretty heavy words jump out at him: sex worker, female genital mutilation, Palestinian solidarity.

Most of them were plotted on a calendar marking “Days of Significance” — International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers (Dec 17), the International Day of Zero-Tolerance on Female Genital Cutting/Mutilation (Feb. 6).
Now, please don't get me wrong here... I'm an anti-mutilation kinda guy, myself. It's just, I'm a little doubtful that the "barely out of diapers" crowd should be your target demographic.
“It’s just bizarre,” said the outraged dad. “He’s six. I want him to enjoy being six.”
Well, Jaak... here's a thought... it ain't Tim Hudak who's been turning Ontario into a unicorn-scented socialist paradise.

Just something to remember when you head for the polls next month.

You have got to be kidding me??!!!

Once they started that left turn the lunacy rolls along with superiority over the "common" sense
approach.

Even if they begin to turn back towards the right, momentum will continue the slide left for years to come...

i still remember neophyte coming home from his first day at school. when we asked him what he had learned that day, he told us a long, involved story that centered on mysterious, yet intriguing "chicken headlights".

it was puzzling...but after a bit more questioning we discovered that all the incoming kids had been checked for headlice. goodness knows what his malleable young mind made of that particular process.

just a thought... but maybe the idealogues at the tdsb could leave the youngest kids relatively unindoctrinated for... at least... the first few impressionable years of their elementary school journey.

the elementary teachers federation of ontario is currently running television ads slagging conservative candidate tim hudak.

is there anything to connect their glaring partisanship with dalton's continuous and unashamed surrender to the powerful teachers unions here in ontario?

a cynical person might draw that inference.

Neo - did you read this? They have 31st October as All Hallows Eve (Christian) and 1st November as Samhain (Wicca). Last I looked, Hallowe'en by whatever name wasn't a Christian festival, but 1st & 2nd November were (All Saints and All Souls Days respectively). They've also managed to give Orthodox Christianity two Feasts of the Nativity.

well, frances... i'm guessing this is less about being factual... than being mindlessly inclusive.

just how our socialist brethren roll.

But, Neo, if I had family in that system, I would be extremely carefully reviewing everything that came home and calling them on it. Calling Hallowe'en a Christian holiday is downright malicious.

Can't help but notice St Patrick's Day and Valentines Day are not on the list. Also missing the International Day for Heterosexual, Married, Christian, Taxpaying White Male Day. It starts with everybody else saying "Thanks Guys for all you do, we really appreciate it!", followed by... actually that would be good enough for me.

we've done what we could... moving outta pinko central before neophyte had to go to school... so hopefully he's missed the worst of it.

i simply can't imagine what another decade of socialist lunacy will do to this country.

if ontario actually does opt for another round of dopey dalton... it may just be time to start looking at another country property... in alberta.
