The greatest impact is on the front-line directorate — which includes most uniformed officers from patrol to traffic to tactical officers — where two-thirds of all "accommodated" officers work. Of the 54 officers force-wide in this year’s first quarter who had to be moved to do different jobs, 43 left the front-line.
Chief Charles Bordeleau said the force is “trying to create a culture of well-being and wellness.”
