Strangely, Black Lives Matters Toronto...

...was not available for comment...

Toronto police have released surveillance video and are appealing for the public's help in an attempted murder investigation in which shots were fired through the window of a North York restaurant.

Police describe the suspect as a black male in his twenties to thirties, five-feet-seven to five-feet-nine inches tall, with a thin build and neck-length braided hair.
And...
Toronto homicide detectives say they believe that a young man who was shot dead in Midland Park last night may have been ambushed by people who were expecting him. He has since been identified by police as 21-year-old Kevaughn Morgan.

One of the suspects is described as being...
Well, I don't want to spoil the surprise.

And...
The RCMP charged Ayanle Hassan Ali, with three counts of attempted murder, two counts of assault causing bodily harm, three counts of assault using a weapon and one count of carrying a weapon dangerous to the public, all for the benefit of a terrorist organization.

Court documents identified the victims of the attack as Ryan Kong, Jesus Castillo and Tracy Ann Gerhardt.
Just part of our vibrant, diverse community.

UPDATE: BLM surfaces TO CASTIGATE TORONTO COPS...
Pascale Diverlus, co-founder of Black Lives Matter Toronto said, "It's gross that even in a space like that we can be so over-policed and something that is supposed to be so celebratory for a lot of us is actually very triggering to see cops."
Oh, Pascale... the very thought...

UPDATE2: Early morning shooting at Christie Pits
"Jose - the fitness boot camp instructor - ran up the hill after being shot. He was talking the whole time in the ambulance," said one of the attendees.
Obviously, stretching before exercising is really important.

The suspect is described as a black male between 25 and 30 with a dark complexion and short cornrows hanging from underneath a baseball cap.
Nuff said.

UPDATE4: Caribana or coincidence?
Two men suffered wounds in a double shooting near Dundas Square overnight.
Apparently no one is releasing any details about the shootings but there is this...
It’s the third stabbing at the festival in three years, threatening the family friendly image that organizers have tried to promote.

UPDATE5: And another...
A 22-year-old man has been seriously injured after being shot while sitting in a car near the Danforth Sunday afternoon.
**********

UPDATE6: And another...
Toronto police are investigating an overnight shooting on Bathurst Street between College and Dundas Street West that has injured a man.
**********

UPDATE7: Oh, boy...
Police are investigating after shots were fired into a car in the city’s Victoria Village neighbourhood this morning.

It happened at around 7 a.m. in the area of Lawrence Avenue East and Railside Road, near Victoria Park Avenue.
Sigh.

UPDATE8: CBC blames hot weather...
A 19-year-old man is in stable condition in hospital after he was shot outside a townhouse complex in Malvern. Toronto police and paramedics were called to Empringham Drive, near Sewells Road, just before midnight on Monday.

LAST WORD: I really, really like this job...

...so why don't you take all these way cool cameras & microphones... and go talk to a fireman.
"This has been a busy weekend for events that are happening throughout the city," said Toronto police Const. Craig Brister.
But thanks for askin'.

I noticed that there was a strange lack of description on the last item. Must of been overlooked by the ceeb reporter by accident.

"robins111 says... strange lack of description"

that's simply "standard operating procedure" at canada's national propaganda outlet.

I haven't been keeping score but it seems that 90% of the violent crime in GTA this year has come from the black comminity with blacks killing blacks - how in the name of reason can they possibly say cops make them feel unsafe - is there a new drug circulating that makes them sub human stupid?

anon... i don't think this has anything to do with intelligence. the fact is, a lot of the current crop of blm supporters in toronto appear to be university students.

this is about willfully ignoring what they know to be fact.

and that, to my mind, is the more egregious sin.

But every year Carribana turns into a shooting gallery - what is truly pathetic in this case is the Mayor playing lick spittle lackey to BLM sociopaths.

According to a local police officer interviewed last night, sometimes there are just "bad" weekends for violence in Toronto no matter what event is happening.
Strangely I never seem to hear about multiple shootings or stabbings during Indy Week or the TIFF festival.
