Because "Clinton"

Whitewater, Snipergate, Benghazi and now this...

FBI National Press Office

"To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions. But that is not what we are deciding now."
So, to recap... Hillary Clinton's email server constituted a felony offense under existing law, and if it were anyone else they would be arrested, judged and punished accordingly. But that is not what James Comey is deciding now.

RELATED: The good news is... they've set us free
Just read the Declaration of Independence – it’s almost like those dead white Christian male proto-NRA members foresaw and cataloged the myriad oppressions of liberalism’s current junior varsity tyranny. They don’t realize that by rejecting the rule of law, they have set us free. We are independent. We owe them nothing - not respect, not loyalty, not obedience.
Rules, Mr Comey? There are no rules anymore.

LAST WORD: Flee, flee, run away...
After all, her news conference in March 2015, when she parried questions about her email server, was pretty close to a disaster. She came off as anything but transparent as she parsed every word and made hard-to-swallow excuses about her preference for using only one mobile device.

So, yes, the smart play might be to continue to stonewall.

old white guy says...........Anne Coulter called it a few months ago. She said democrats don't prosecute democrats and guess what, she was right. Bill Clinton was impeached and not one senator voted for removal of office. Politics has become so corrupt I think everyone involved needs to kicked out and the whole thing started over.

The Clintons are a criminal cartel - they have besmirched and polluted every institution that they have had contact with. The USA is no longer a lawful country. It is good to be King and Queen - "Long Live the Queen".

Under executive globalism America is as lawless and corrupt as some 3rd world banana republics which permeate the UN back benches and plead for its demise

- Bill meets in secret with Lynch and next Hillary dodges jail - nawww no collusion there. Trump has a lot of firing to do to undo the corruption the Obama crime syndicate has infected Washington with.

In any credible legal system the roles of investigation and prosecution are kept separate. Thus in a straight criminal case in the US, police detectives do the investigation and the DA decides if the evidence supports indictment.
Here we have the Director of the investigating unit, FBI, recommending publicly that no indictment is necessary.Surely this is the job of US attorneys in the DOJ to decide, and they are not bound by an opinion of the FBI. But the point is mute, obviously as the DOJ is even less inclined to prosecute a case against Mrs Clinton.
Another peculiarity arises, in that how often does the police Chief, or Police Commissioner meet with the spouse of a person under investigation to decide if an indictment would be comfortable for the couple involved?

Perhaps I have been reading too much crime fiction, things seem more black and white there, than in the real world of crime and politics.

laws are for the little people.

and as long as people keep voting in the corrupt, the incompetent or simply the celebutantes, nothing will change.

old white guy says ............no Martin you have not been reading too much crime fiction. Truth is stranger than fiction in America and the corruption so deep I am not sure the country can dig it self out.
