The mockery of the Canadian (cough, cough) justice system...
A drunk driver who killed four elderly women when he slammed his minivan into their car was sentenced yesterday to four years in jail.Call me wacky... but wasn't this irresponsible sot also "prohibited" from driving blind drunk in the first place?
Wladyslaw Bilski, 49, will also be prohibited from driving for 10 years.
Seriously... this guy killed four innocent human beings. Why wouldn't you just toss his drunken, homicidal ass in jail... if he ever attempts to drive so much as a unicycle ever again?

Under Canada's bullshit legal system that would be cruel and unusual punishment. We must rehabilitate this POS with compassion.

Drunks have a disease don't cha know? If you have a DIS ease, stands to reason that you get a free pass on the effects of said Disease. You are an object to be pitied and require serious compassionate intervention, not condemnation.
I can only say thank you to those elderly ladies for being the tool that alerted us to this poor man's inner torments. Otherwise he would have become just another silent suffering statistic, some bump on the road.
