A very "complex" decision? Seriously?

Who exactly, is calling the shots here... Judge "Rainman"?
Crown attorneys have dropped two gun charges against an Ontario man who shot at masked intruders firebombing his home, saying they had no “reasonable prospect of conviction.” --
And while everybody keeps going on about Canada's "kinder, gentler" society... I'm just not seeing it.

If fact, there's some pretty frightening trends lurking not too far beneath the veneer of civil society these days...
"Québec Solidaire MNA Amir Khadir now claims he misunderstood the nature of the protest, despite the clear message on the pamphlet he held while taking part."
Hmmm... let's ask somebody who isn't a card-carrying disciple of Quebec's political & cultural elite...
“We do not sell politics. We sell shoes.”

BREAKING: It's still not enough
The last member of the so-called Toronto 18 terror group to be sentenced has been handed a life term with no chance of parole for 10 years.
It's time for a private members bill... bring back the death penalty for terrorism.
