Following in the frugal footsteps...

...of Furious George...

A lot of taxpayer green & fossil fuel was burned up keeping Liberal cabinet minister Glen Murray in the air during his stint as chairman of the National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy.

Murray won a Canadian Taxpayers Federation Teddy Waste Award for a $1-million toilet on a footbridge in Winnipeg.

Hey Ontario, aren't you happy we ran this carpetbagger out of Manitoba? You're welcome! ;)

I don't miss him either. Sorry TO, better you than us.

For the uninitiated: Murray thought that being left wing and gay would be enough to win a seat as a liberal MP and resigned as mayor to run federally. And he probably would have won too, if it weren't for a certain pugnacious quadriplegic. He went from hero to zero quicker than a transvestite goes through pantyhose. Oh the humanity...
