Mr. Lavigne will collect a pension for his nine years in the House of Commons as a Liberal MP from 1993 to 2002, bringing his total remuneration to around $80,000 a year.

Wasn't she fired as well?

I hate to break it to ya... but it ain't just the senate siphoning piles of dough here bucky.
