I just don't understand...
...where people get the idea... he's an arrogant, condescending suckhole...
Oh... right...
"There's a blue door. There's a red door. We're going to form a Liberal government. Is that clear enough for you?" Ignatieff then abruptly ended the news conference and walked off.Yes, your highness... once again... as clear as mud.

RELATED: Another Jane Taber tonguebath...
...must be Thursday...
"Mr. Ignatieff received a standing ovation. One Liberal MP described him as being 'on fire'."My guess is... Iggy screws this one up... they'll make sure he is.

LAST WORD: Hey... what's that smell?
A 19-point difference is a huge lead with which to enter a campaign. It raises the question: Was everyone in the Opposition Leaders’ Office sniffing glue when they decided to force an election?
It’s only if you believe the real goal is to hold the Conservatives to another minority, in order to form a coalition of losers with the NDP and the Bloc Québécois, that the drive to bring down the government starts to make sense.

He talks about a blue door and a red door, but the only door relevant here is the one he will be shown after May 2, 2011.
boy you nailed it I have nothing to add

There is liberal and then there is flaming liberal - methinks the Coalition will be of the flaming liberal type. The NDP and BLOC will make nice bookends for Ignatieff. He has got to hope he is fireproof. Cheers.
You expected something different?
Funny..I didn't see Aaron Wherry writing about that - and yet he writes a snarky column about the PM's presser.
Biased??? Nah......
What an arrogant twit. Mind you if you saw David McGuinty on CPAC, its the same arrogance. Do Liberals actually believe they are divinely ordained?

hmmm... seems there's a distinct whiff of "divine right of kings" to this one.

Thank goodness Elizabeth May hasn't yet asked us to join her "Behind the Green Door"

Oh, and Iggy, thanks for giving the CPC an idea for a campaign song:

Iggy, "ya gotta ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky?"
Ipsos-Reid, March 23, 2011:
Tories - 43%
Grits - 24%
Dippers - 16%
Bloquistes - 11%
Watermelons - 6%
"Well - do ya, punk?"
A successful coalition *could* be formed between the "Blue" Liberals and the CPC as a "Coalition of the Winners", somewhat in the manner of the recent UK election. This would be far more palatable than a "Coalition of the Losers", which is what Ignatieff would represent. The real trick would be how to woo dissociated Liberal MP's to cross the floor; perhaps as part of a "National Unity Government" dedicated to keeping Canada on an even keel as the global economy continues its turmoil?
