I'm shocked, imagine that, the CAW is able to create a rally in Queens Park.

Taliban Jack used to use the CAW as a "rent-a-rally", for every social issue he wanted.

I really think the bandana was a nice touch though.

Oh yes, it was rent a rally all right..union members were interviewed from all over Canada, braying about how 'we' should be getting our pensions. From the Ontario govt. That means me.The taxpayer

Some should have gone back to Calgary and let the Ontarians decide how 'our' money should be spent.

Has anyone noticed that overt raism and mesogyny from all the Fat/White/Males .
The CAW has been a private club for many years now, and just as Ontario has Welfare-families going back for about 35 years.....we have Corporate-Welfare families in the CAW that have reaped years of bail-outs from taxpayers as if they were part of the Entitlements that come with the CAW membership.

Lets go visit Ken Lewenza's house and see exactly how many "Canadian" appliances and Electronics are in HIS home to support other canadians.
My guess is that the CAW members fill their homes with Slave-labour import goods like their TV,DVD player, fridge,PC,and other Kitchen items.

It takes a special helluva nerve for the CAW to want us to fill our Garages with Their products to support their employment while they themself fill their homes with Imported products made from non-Union workers off-shore.

The older workers help prove the History in canada when Blacks could not join Unions , but even when Females got in the door it is obvious that they too were White-females and a relative of someone in the Plant.
Toronto has the same scam for the City Union , except in this case it is the taxpayers that fund the whole Ponze-scheme to keep hiring more and more new comers to feed the tip of the Pyramid workers who retire and draw the money as a senior Ponze member.

Imported products that are not made here, dipshit. Don't worry, though, cars won't be built here either, soon enough.

If autoworkers knew their pensions were tied to the health of the company and not invested separately, then it's hard to be too sympathetic. Surely when they saw Honda and Toyota building better cars more cheaply in Ontario they could have figured it out?

I work for Honda in Canada, even our management expressed wonder on how GM and Chrysler could screw up their workers "Guaranteed pension plan".

But really the "Guarantee" was lost when the company had no money to top up the pension fund due to business losses in addition to the Pension fund losses when the markets fell last fall.

Everyone is in the same boat with stocks, mutual funds, and investments down. The CAW should not get any special taxpayer funded pension bailout for their companies failure to "guarantee" their private pension fund.

This Canadian Automaker Whiners Union request would be like me asking the government to top up the 25% or so loss I took on my RRSP's.

More reality checks for the CAW to come ...
