Yeah sure, Ujjal

Let's just save time and assume these guys are cold-blooded killers.

Newly released RCMP e-mails (which were obtained by the CBC) show that the police force's leader, Commissioner William Elliott, made supportive calls to four RCMP officers just after a video of the incident was made public.
And Ujjal Dosanjh, the people's champion.... is horrified.

So I guess now, at the first whiff of trouble... the cops are supposed to toss their fellow officers overboard, huh?
Liberal MP Ujjal Dosanjh said it was inappropriate given the possibility of disciplinary action or a police investigation in relation to the death of Robert Dziekanski.

"Given that potential, I believe that Mr. Elliott's conduct is entirely inappropriate," Mr. Dosanjh said.
Or, Mr. Dosanjh... perhaps you should be working for Daniel Ortega.

Choose wisely, my friend.

I don't understand why everybody is so upset about this killing in the Vancouver airport.
It's just another example of a negro killing a white person.
It happens all the time here in Toronto, why would it be any different anywhere else in Canada?

I don't see anything wrong with the RCMP commissioner calling to offer his support to the men under his command. I do, however, find a great deal wrong with the way the RCMP has handled this matter. If ever any investigatin smacked of whitewash, this one certainly does.
This organization seems to be operating within an environment of cover-up, obfuscation, and distortion. It has become overly politicized and has morphed into just another empire-building bureaucracy wth all the excesses that accompany all ultra-bureaucratic entities. This distain for the public's preceptions came into full fruition under the Cretein regime and it seems to be continuing on the same self-destructive path today.
The RCMP is supposed to be a police force acting to protect the citizens of this country, not some free lance extrajudicial state agency reminiscent of the Stasi.

so powell... what you're say... and please correct me if i'm misreading... is that uber-socialist ujjal isn't going far enough?

i mean... a comparison to the stasi? that's absolutely gotta be covered somewhere under "godwin's law".

Neo I live in Victoria for two years, wow what an eye opener. People actually chain themselves to rocks to save them, I'm not kidding. Lund BC houses draft dodgers who have been living off their trust funds for decades.

How can anyone blame the police? Let's be honest it's the Airport that screwed up, the cops were called because he was getting violent. Place the blame on the airport employees and lack of policies not the police.

Critics should walk a mile in a cops shoes, dealing with the dredges of society day and day out and getting no thanks for the job they do.

"rose says... Place the blame on the airport employees"

call me wacky... but how about saving some of the blame for the guy that went apeshit... and started throwin' all that stuff around?
