Ontario Health Minister Eric Hoskins says the government is allocating more than $222-million over three years for harm-reduction services and treatment to combat the province's opioid crisis.As we slouch toward our retirement years, Mrs Neo and I are once again without a family physician. It took six years to get a doctor when we moved here... during that time we were dependent on the local hospital emergency room. Now that doctor has left for greener pastures.
This latest bit of social engineering reminds me of the 70,000,000 taxpayer dollars Kathleen Wynne dropped into the toilet to assist the "socially infertile" to have children... notwithstanding the Liberal policy to provide abortion on demand and the 40,000+ children in the custody of Ontario Childrens Aid.
