Canada ties for eighth overall...

...while PM Selfie's refugee flavours of the week are Syria in 24th and Haiti in 39th place...world iq

"These numbers came from a work carried out from 2002 to 2006 by Richard Lynn, a British Professor of Psychology, and Tatu Vanhanen, a Finnish Professor of Political Science, who conducted IQ studies in more than 80 countries."

I smell a bias. When the designers of the tests and those who survey the results are all IQ "winners", one must suspect that they are either unwilling or unable to detect mental ability in the "untermenschen". And what's with the chart-topping Orientals? Is it not surprising that out of two billion of them, we are exposed to the cream? My many years of contact with ethnics who are labelled "dumb" and therefore condescended to by liberals, leave me convinced that equally useful purses can be made from both silk and sows' ears.

interesting that the areas with the lowest (bright orange) iq are the most violent disease ridden part of the planet.

Umm, there are 16 countries ahead of Canada, wouldn't that make us 17th ?

i guess they're counting countries with identical iq scores as one rank on the chart. maybe they didn't want to hurt our feelings?

So if 6 people tie for first place in the 100 metres, the 7th and 8th finishers get the silver and bronze medals ?

That's not how it works.

sorry, james... if you want to pick a fight with an anonymous internet stranger, you'll have to take it somewhere else.

if this really matters to you, feel free to take it up with professors richard lynn or tatu vanhanen... or the creators of the website i linked to.

hope you're feeling better tomorrow.
