The Canadian healthcare system is imploding before our very eyes... how about we devote dwindling resources... to folks who actually give a sh#t whether they live or die?

Only 20?...Oh well better luck with the next batch. Rob C
That's pretty offensive. These people are not in their right minds. They are sleepwalking around with the drug controlling their every action. Most just thought they could try the drug once and it wouldn't get them but that's not how it works. Government needs to be investing more time and money into how to get these people off the drugs so they can make sane decisions again and not helping to keep them addicted.
*"anon says... Most just thought they could try the drug once and it wouldn't get them"unfortunately, peace moonbeam... i don't share your special talent for reading people's minds. thx for sharing.*
Just curious. Do you suppose any of these deaths could possibly have occurred at or after the addicts self-injected at Insite? Would we ever be told?
Have you ever looked at how much cash Health Canada pumps into reserves? Here's the first quarter of the current fiscal year, http://www.gcdisclosure-divulgationsc.hc-sc.gc.ca/dpfad/gcdisc.nsf/WEBbypurpose?OpenView&RP=2010-2011~1&Start=1&Count=20&lang=eng&Very first name on the list?'NAMGIS FIRST NATION ALERT BAY, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA 2010-04-23 $9,400,496.00orAAMJIWNAANG SARNIA, ONTARIO, CANADA 2010-06-21 $2,379,620.00orAGENCY CHIEFS TRIBAL COUNCIL SPIRITWOOD, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA 2010-04-22 $4,068,645.00orAHTAHKAKOOP FIRST NATION SHELL LAKE, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA 2010-06-01 $5,932,329.00AHTAHKAKOOP FIRST NATION SHELL LAKE, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA 2010-05-17 $5,806,329.00and that's just a couple off the first page, 40 more pages to that quarter alone. Not all of it's native, but the majority is.And you wonder where your health care dollars are going?
*"mitchel44 asks... Have you ever looked at how much cash..." that's a trick question... right?"Lemme see if I'm understanding the dynamic here... Oka, Caledonia, Deseronto, Pikangikum (just to name a few)... and we, the Canadian taxpayer, are handing over 12 billion dollars per year... to finance a war... on ourselves?"*
