I'll never bitch about Air Canada again

As the rebellion spread, Aeroflot representatives boarded the aircraft to try to calm down the 300 passengers.

One sought to reassure them by announcing that it was "not such a big deal" if the pilot was drunk because the aircraft practically flew itself.

It's quite a problem in Europe, social drinking during work hours is the norm there. In Canada you'd of been stopped from the get go. There is zero tolerance for drinking and flying in Canada's aviation sector, they have an 8 hour rule. You cannot injest alcohol eight hours prior to taking the controls.

When flying I'm always reassured if the pilot has grey hair, on one trip to Powell River two people entered the aircraft I assumed the gry haired fella twas the pilot nope he was the trolly dolly. The pilot didn't look old enough to shave, on route the pilot did a spin to avoid hitting a bald eagle it scrared me to death and the lady sitting next to me was so scared she had to take her heart medication. I take the ferry now, that was the most frightful flight I've ever been on and I'm not flying with them again-EVER.

The Canadian Forces staff knew something wasn't right when the barbecue was lit in mid-flight.

It was the late 1990s, and Canadian troops were deployed on humanitarian missions in Honduras and Turkey following natural disasters. They flew on flights chartered by the Canadian government, flights using huge Russian-built Antonov AN-124 cargo planes.

But as Maj. L. Rutten wrote in a June 2000 e-mail, the charter's non-Canadian crew "barbecued their in-flight meals on an hibachi in the cargo compartment."

LOL to funny, I had a gig as a leasing agents and some of our new tenants didn't know how to operate the stove or what a bathtub was for. In one case they used the bathtub as a giant mixing bowl and sold the food at flea markets. We had several case of people setting the carpet on fire when they tried to cook over open flames.
