The clip, 401 Takeover — posted on Top 5’s Instagram page — shows the Lawrence Heights rapper, whose real name is Hassan Ali, hanging out the rear passenger door of a slow-moving Mercedes G-Class on Monday night.STOP... OR WE'LL YELL STOP AGAIN!
He performs for an unseen camera crew in an adjacent car while travelling eastbound in Hwy. 401’s collector lanes.
The two vehicles, along with a third containing at least two people shooting the scene with smartphones, brought traffic to a stop at the Jane St. overpass.
Ali exited the Mercedes to continue his performance on the blacktop, accompanied by car horns sounded by angry motorists stuck in backed-up traffic.
“It’s never a wise idea to impede traffic on any roadway, especially Canada’s busiest highway. It’s not something we would recommend,” said OPP Const. Lauren Ball sternly.Thank you, Lauren the Safety Elephant.
