When Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shut down the finance committee’s investigation into the WE Charity scandal, he stopped the release of some potentially embarrassing information — the paid speaking engagements of his family.

The committee had asked for the information to see if any other organizations were paying close to the average $17,000 in fees and expenses for each of Margaret Trudeau’s 28 WE appearances.

While Trudeau never charged WE to either speak or appear, he has charged plenty of other groups — charities much smaller than WE paid up big bucks.
