Given their position...

On championing the rights of death-row detritus... I'm surprised Steffi and the Fiberals didn't try to intervene here.
-- WOODSTOCK, N.B. -- A convicted murderer who escaped custody by mailing himself out of a U.S. prison is back in the hands of U.S. authorities.

A handcuffed Richard Lee McNair was driven to a border checkpoint in Woodstock, N.B., with an escort from the Mounties, the Canada Border Services Agency confirmed yesterday.

"He was escorted to the New Brunswick-Maine border by the Canada Border Services Agency officers and was handed over to the U.S. Marshals Office."
McNair was serving 3 life sentences in the United States, which means, in Canada... with good behaviour and the backing of the loony left... he could have been panhandling on Yonge St. before Christmas.

"It's just not fair."
