Given their position...
On championing the rights of death-row detritus... I'm surprised Steffi and the Fiberals didn't try to intervene here.
-- WOODSTOCK, N.B. -- A convicted murderer who escaped custody by mailing himself out of a U.S. prison is back in the hands of U.S. authorities.McNair was serving 3 life sentences in the United States, which means, in Canada... with good behaviour and the backing of the loony left... he could have been panhandling on Yonge St. before Christmas.
A handcuffed Richard Lee McNair was driven to a border checkpoint in Woodstock, N.B., with an escort from the Mounties, the Canada Border Services Agency confirmed yesterday.
"He was escorted to the New Brunswick-Maine border by the Canada Border Services Agency officers and was handed over to the U.S. Marshals Office."
"It's just not fair."

The Americans should have left him in jail here a little longer: McNair would have tried the mailbag stunt again and ended up at the bottom of a bog somewhere like everything else Canada Post handles.
Odd how when Harper raises hell with the Chinese over human rights the left goes wild with fear over what it might do to our economic ties with China.
When Harper doesn't raise hell with the Americans over the death penalty we hear all sorts of squealing about how we should be berating them.
It's a waste of time to point out their hypocrisy, but what the hell....
I suspect Harper is setting them up for a bit of criticsism of the Chinese over their death penalty.
Stay tuned.
