AND IT ONLY TOOK TWO FREAKIN' YEARS

IT ACTUALLY LOOKED LIKE THEY'D GET AWAY WITH IT...
The province’s police watchdog has charged three Ontario Provincial Police officers, Nathan Vanderheyden, Kenneth Pengelly and Grason Cappus with manslaughter and criminal negligence causing death in connection with the death of a one-year-old boy in a police-involved shooting in Kawartha Lakes in 2020.

Which begs the question... who shoots at a car knowing there's a baby inside?

TIME TRAVEL WITH ME

-- "Six months after the provincial police watchdog confirmed a baby boy and his father were fatally shot by the Ontario Provincial Police, the officers who opened fire have not been interviewed." --
UPDATE:   Scanner audio is online
-- "The recording of police radio chatter shows officers were told there was a child in the truck they were pursuing through the mostly rural community." --
LAST WORD:   Remember... they shot a baby!
-- "The union representing OPP officers said in a statement that it fully supports the three officers charged." --
