Iran, North Korea... another 9/11?

You melt down over some paparazzi... what's gonna happen when the pressure's really on?

"That's enough. You've got a shot. Leave us alone," Obama told reporters as he walked down the block with his 7-year-old daughter Sasha in her costume on the way to a party at a neighbour's home.

Neo

How does this juxtapose with PM Harper's walking his daughter to school?

I seem to remember Harper being called on the carpet by the MSM for being uncaring, unfeeling or at the very least cynical.

What's Barry's excuse?

I cannot stand Hopey-Change. I think he's as ignorant as our Layton and completely inexperienced. (I loved it on Duffy yesterday when Emerson said most of the stuff out of Laytons mouth is nonsense that plays on a certain element of the population)

However the media needs to know when to f-off. With this I agree with Obama.

(btw neo: see that our betters, McGuinty, Smitherman, and gang, have denied Bruce Power's intention to build two private nuclear power plants.

Still waiting for the magic disney fairy source of energy...

What a bunch of idiots.

"langmann says... However the media needs to know when to f-off."

sorry... gotta disagree here.

these guys are undeniably bothersome assholes, but that's totally beside the point. the fact is... even miley cyrus can deal with paparazzi.

how's obama gonna handle really big pressure-cooker world altering events... if he can't slide past the paps without losin' it?

@ neo:

I think he's going to be horrible at handling real pressure. There is already a great deal of gaffes he's made when out of his element and at times even when he is supposed to be in his element. The media did a useless job of taking a good look at this guy, imagine if he got grilled the same way Palin was? And you're right, he didn't deal that well with the paparazzi.

That being said I think its a good thing for the media to get a lashing. However they are experts at ignoring it and carrying on with their antics...

good thing he's got joe "what decade is this" biden... to backstop him then, huh?

and nobody's saying the paparazzi aren't ignorant assholes... (if i were supreme dictator, i'd horsewhip 'em)... but apparently, they're only doing what a very significant number of admittedly dimwit americans are clamouring for them to do... celebrate celebrity.

True true.

(A significant number of dimwit Canadians as well it seems).

If Obama gets elected he'll 'fairness doctrine' the media, they willingly do his bidding now, but once he has power they won't have a choice in the matter, it will be off the campaign plane for anybody who doesn't play ball.
