Margie... get me the bolt gun...

...it's definitely time to thin the herd...

"PETA is planning on running the ad in the Portage la Prairie paper where the 'accused' is in court."
(h/t reader sammy)

RELATED: PETA's dirty little secret
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, a group that complains bitterly when animals die accidentally in horse races or intentionally in slaughterhouses, killed more than 90 percent of the adoptable animals in its care during 2007.

UPDATE: Portage paper says, "Sniff my butt!"
-- PORTAGE LA PRAIRIE, Man. -- An animal rights group has tried – and failed – to run a newspaper ad comparing the beheading of a passenger on a Greyhound bus last week to the treatment of animals by the meat industry.

WELCOME. YET AGAIN, (2) READERS OF CANADIAN CYNIC

Sitemeter tells me, 2 of my last 100 visitors have come by way of Canadian Cynic. And it appears he's appealing to a higher power again.

No... not God.
Hey, CC... don't you have an actual mummy you can run to?

That explains a few things.

Cheers to the paper for sayin NO, but peta is getting losts of publicity for nothing, with everyone picking up the ad. There is also a story that a church in the US is planning to send picketers to picket this poor mans funeral. Is there any legal action the famiy can take against peta. If muslims can get upset and cause riots all over the world because of a couple of cartoons, and cost taxpayers 500,000. to try and make their point, and backdown, we non peta supporters should be able to find a way to show our outrage. We could start by picketing anywhere petapam appears, and show up eating a hamburger.
Is peta a registered charity, if so, get them removed.

folks like to say that there's no such thing as bad publicity... but i think peta may have just proved that one wrong.

Dang it man, I damn near roll on the floor with some of the exchanges that you have with this cynic(cesspool) character and his asylum roommates, sure he's deranged but the entertainment value is priceless.

"anon says... sure he's deranged but the entertainment value is priceless."

of course, the flip side of cc's lurid rants... as anyone familiar with the psychological concept of "transference" is aware... is that the cynic is, invariably, serving up his own deepest, darkest fantasies.

it's just a little scary.
