So, will Justin Trudeau and his mother...

...and his brother be returning any of the money they took from the Kielburger bros?insert alt text here
"The Liberal and NDP members of a House of Commons committee voted on Tuesday to deny another attempt by the committee's Conservative members to get to the bottom of the WE Charity Scandal."
And what did PM Care Bear have to promise Jagmeet Singh for his support?

"The CBC has ran to the government for grants like this in the past. It was revealed they hemorrhaged $2.1 billion over twelve years after losing the rights of Hockey Night In Canada to Rogers."
TIME TRAVEL WITH ME:
"The Trudeau government has quietly paid a $10.5-million settlement to Omar Khadr in a move that circumvents legal efforts by two Americans to prevent him from receiving compensation."
What about the Kielburger Kickback scam. He just keeps getting away with this shit.

"Trudeau’s mother, Margaret Trudeau, spoke at approximately 28 WE Charity events and was paid $250,000 in speaking honorariums between 2016 and 2020. His brother, Alexandre Trudeau, also spoke at eight events from 2017 to 2018 and was paid a total of approximately $32,000."

News of the payments to two members of Trudeau's family seems to contradict WE Charity's earlier claim that it had "never paid an honorarium" to Margaret Trudeau.
Now, let's take a look at Sophie's lottery ticket.

UPDATE:  Who's sorry now?
OTTAWA — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau admits that he did not recuse himself from the federal cabinet vote to outsource a $900-million student volunteer program to WE Charity, which has close ties to him and his family.
Close ties? That's what we're calling it now?

REX MURPHY HAS A FEW QUESTIONS:
Passing out big bucks to everyone who had anything at all to do with it seems to be the essence of this entire scheme. Here’s $900 million: spend half of it to give the other half away. Hell, with that mandate, even I could run it.

On a wider scale, there might usefully be some inquiry into why Kielburger Inc. has such easy access to the Canadian school system.

Perhaps this statement from Chris Aylward, president of the Public Service Alliance of Canada, sharp and to the point, had something to do with the lightning-fast turnaround:

“Mr. Trudeau’s claim that WE Charity is the ‘only one’ that can administer the new grant program is not only factually wrong, it’s also insulting to our members.”

The reasons for the resignations in WE's upper ranks remain unclear.

The former Canadian chair of the board of directors, Michelle Douglas, tweeted that she resigned on March 27 and that "almost all" of those on the Canadian and American boards resigned or were replaced around the same time.

She declined to explain why when approached by CBC News.
LAST WORD: Not on my dime
“Should a program be creating volunteer opportunities that may not have a real impact? That doesn’t serve anyone.”

"This is a political scandal for the government, not for WE Charity."

Betraying the public trust has become...

...a national sport...
"The sole-source contract that was to be their salvation, and a rocket engine to greater things, has embroiled them in the messiest publicity they have ever had, and carries the potential to wound them fatally. The story continues to expand."
And how is Peter Mackay any different?
"Tax dollars should be spent according to the highest priorities, not used as a slush fund to be scooped up by the most influential MPs," he added."

"An investment in black excellence is an investment in economic empowerment, and economic empowerment is an essential part of justice," said the prime minister, before announcing an investment of $221 million to launch Canada's first black entrepreneurship program."
Hang on... unless we're saying that Canada is truly a racist shithole, wouldn't "black excellence" be doing just fine?
Isn't Trudeau actually saying he's setting up a fund to bootstrap "black mediocrity?"

Yet again... a heaping plate of that Liberal bigotry of low expectations with just a soupçon of purchasing people's votes.

And curious minds want to know... are there bonus government funds for sporting a black vagina?

There were many odd, or even very odd moments in their testimony. I’m hardly alone in seeing their refusal to answer Pierre Poilievre’s four-times-repeated question whether they had hired private investigators to surveil reporters (Canadaland’s Jesse Brown, in particular) almost eerie.

Any conventional, normal charity would never find itself in a situation where such a question could be asked — if they have or had private detectives on their payroll.
Or the Prime Minister's mother & brother, for that matter.

UPDATE: Of course they did
"Brown not only included in his tweets a report which showed investigators looking into the names of his children and where they attended school but also an email from the lawyer hired by WE, Peter Downard."

The controversial move to outsource the funding to an organization that has close ties to the Trudeau family received a large amount of backlash among people in the charitable sector as well as the opposition conservatives.

When defending the move, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said WE received the work because it was the only organization that had a network capable of the nationwide distribution necessary to provide students with the funding.
And what's the deal with all those numbered companies?

"However, the bank has waived the covenant requirements for the current period."
Apparently WE Charity needs a little extra time to work on it's books...
"This report concerns WE Charity's 2018 year. WE Charity has not yet posted its audited financial statements for the year ending August 2019. We have requested these statements from WE Charity so that we can update this information."

"Earlier in the day, the former chair of the WE Charity board of directors told MPs on the Commons finance committee this afternoon that the board was told that speakers were not being paid for appearing at WE Day events — even though WE later confirmed that its for-profit arm had paid Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's mother and brother thousands of dollars for speaking at such events."
