Dear Iranian slash Canadians...

First... a bit of bad news...insert alt text hereDespite the lamentations and strident choreographed demands of Canada's Prime Minstrel, none of the rest of us unslashed Canucks are actually in mourning with, or for you. In fact, it would be a little bit weird if we were... like when Michael Jackson spent a long, dark lonely night at the funeral home with the corpse of James Brown.

The truth is, most of us can't wrap our heads around why you might return to the land of demented mullahs and the acknowledged home of world terrorism. Let's face facts here... your homeboy Khomeini was just totally off the chain. All that "Death to the Great Satan America" shit has only served to isolate & impoverish a once flourishing country.

In a way, the people on that plane brought this disaster upon themselves by venturing back into the surreal land of the bearded weirdies who cut hands off shoplifters and sanction the beating of disobedient wives.

It's time to actually pick a side. You could leave all that bloodthirsty medieval theocracy bullshit behind... and start thinking of yourself as a citizen of the civilised world.

Just a thought.

LAST WORD: Justin al-Trudeau doubles down...insert alt text here
“I’ve talked about the tremendous grief and loss that Canadians are feeling and the need for clear answers on how this happened and how we’re going to make sure it never happens again,” Trudeau said.
With his "magical Hogwarts powers," I'm guessing. Remember, this isn't Justin's first rodeo...
"Trudeau Liberals announce someone will be held accountable for something in Syria in some way."
Time for another mosque tour in Papineau.

Speaking of the HRC menace...

I think I've found the Mother Ship.
An Iranian official leading the latest investigation into the 2003 death of Canadian photojournalist Zahra Kazemi is accusing Ottawa of illegal and biased behaviour in the case.
WAIT FOR IT...
Javad Larijani, secretary of Iran's Human Rights Commission, told CBC News that the probe of the Montreal-based freelance journalist's death while in Iranian custody is expected to wrap up in two to three months.
Crap... these things are obviously capable of reproduction.

Now, we're really screwed.

What's a little torture murder...

...between friends?
-- OTTAWA -- Iran has had no ambassador in Canada since Iranian security forces raped and murdered Canadian photographer Zahra Kazemi in 2003. Canada has been a leader in imposing sanctions on Iran to halt Iran's nuclear weapons program.
Never mind all that, forget about hurtful words... the only party line today... is let's party...
“Absolutely not. I’m a senator. I’m free to do as a I wish with respect to my engagement with the Iranian community and with the people of Iran,” he told Maclean’s. “Today’s not about politics. Today’s about enriching one another through art.”
This guy is supposed to be a Conservative? Stephane Dion is further to the right than this moron.

Just another reason to abolish the Senate. Do it now.

UPDATE: Well, this is timely...
The Harper government plans to ask the Supreme Court to vet its controversial Senate reform plans in the face of opposition from provincial governments and some of its own caucus members, sources said.
There's just one small problem...
The proposed reforms have made little headway in both minority and majority Parliaments, where they have faced opposition from the Liberal Party and the NDP.
At least with an elected senate it isn't "cash for life"... you get to throw the bums out.

First China... now Iran

How badly does a country have to behave to earn Justin's disapproval?insert alt text here
Zarif’s admission provides additional evidence that the regime shot down PS752 and deliberately covered it up. The audio tape also confirms Zarif’s integral role in the regime’s apparatus of terror and repression.
Trudeau’s strategy is to “work together” with Zarif, without exerting any pressure on the regime.
I guess Iran is his second most admired dictatorship.

TIME TRAVEL WITH ME:
-- TEHRAN (AFP) -- Supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei pledged on Monday that Iran would never yield to Western pressure over its nuclear programme, and it would outsmart "drunken and arrogant" Western opponents in the standoff.
AND... who remembers Zahra Kazemi?

That's who PM Care Bear is making friends with.

LOOK WHO JUSTIN'S NOT CRACKING DOWN ON

-- "Talaei is best known for launching a special unit to crack down on women wearing supposedly un-Islamic dress, aggressively quelling protests and spearheading an operation to seize TV satellite dishes used to bring in Western programming." --
It gets better...
-- "Morteza Talaei also headed the capital city’s police force when Canadian photojournalist Zahra Kazemi was arrested and tortured to death in a Tehran prison."
IN OTHER GTA NEWS
-- "One person was transported to hospital following a reported shooting at Fountainhead and Sentinel roads in North York Monday evening." --
And...
-- "A 17-year-old boy has been arrested for a shooting that killed a 32-year-old man in Pickering last year." --
