A Scarborough man, Mansour Jalali, 53, charged with first-degree murder in the April killing of a woman is reportedly the victim’s husband.

Toronto Police answered a call for medical assistance on Bonis Ave. — in the Kennedy Rd.-Sheppard Ave. E. area — at 11:30 a.m. on April 3. Officers found the body of Chiou-Shuang “Susan” Chen, 40, inside.

A 36-year-old man, Nathan Ashman of Toronto was found with serious injuries. He was rushed to hospital by paramedics where he was later pronounced dead.
