...melamine in the baby formula...

All patients of a suspected illegal cosmetic surgery clinic in Delta are being urged to get tested for HIV and hepatitis by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.

Zhuo Li is not a registrant of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, and is not a licensed physician listed on any publicly available database worldwide. She is believed to be a tattoo artist with training in esthetics and makeup application.
People freak out when Kellie Leitch talks about "Canadian values", but here's a good example of what she means... ie, no performing surgery without a medical license.

Neo, if there is one thing I have learned in through dealings with Chinese businesses in the capacity of quality control and materials procurement, is that there is a national almost cultural contempt for patent and trademark integrity, as well as integrity in one time sales - long term supply contracts are different, but if you are going to use a Chinese source on a single purchace like a panic buy to fill an order in time - beware!

I have actually had tubes of chips shipped to me (like say an intel fuzzy logic specialty controller)from these Chinese industrial sourcing houses (and there are literally thousands of them for any industrial commodity imaginable) and we placed them on the boards and when they went to first test they fried in their footprint - I took sme raw ones and tested the the pins for output and this device wasn't even a controller it was some ttl logic device with the intel logo and device markings on them - the supplier never returned my calls.

there is a special corner of hell for people willing to poison babies...

It was a rapid expansion of a scandal that began with tainted baby formula at a single company and soon spread to 21 other producers. Thousands of frightened parents flooded into Chinese hospitals yesterday to seek medical tests for babies who had consumed the tainted products.
