The alternate universe of the CBC

Remember, the government gives these folks 1.2 billion taxpayer dollars every year...

"Confrontational, angry inaugural address leaves no doubt about which side Trump's on"...
Write your member of Parliament today about defunding this monstrosity.

In other media meltdowns...
"The butcher's bill has come due: President Donald Trump is about to victimize his own voters," Salon titled his essay.
And...
On Friday's NBC "Today" show, Matt Lauer expressed fear that the unruly Trump crowds might target former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton once again.

The Washington Post's Catherine Rampell agreed that Trump having the nuclear codes "is somewhat terrifying to me, given that Trump does not have the greatest impulse control and when he says that he gets attacked, he punches back."

New York Times columnist Paul Krugman tweeted that Trump may have wanted military equipment at his parade, but "at least he didn't want the marching soldiers goose-stepping — as far as we know."
I'm tired of being manipulated. How about you?

RELATED: It's just sad
The angry feminists were out in force. There were more signs talking about “PUSSY” than on the Reeperbahn. Pussy this, pussy that, all held up by women no less. Aging unkempt women wore pink hats they knitted called “Pussyhats” in twisted solidarity.
Yup... nothing like respecting the democratic process.

LAST WORD:
How low will they go?

Thank the blue heavens there are still some of us that have common sense.
I find your blog extremely enlightening and honest. Carry on Neo you're doing great.
The left wing loonies are going to implode shortly.

The 1.2B doesn't guarantee professional reporting, or even accurate news stories. instead we get Rosie Barton acting like a silly goose at the approach of Obama's motorcade; juxtapose that with her sour puss expression yesterday at the inauguration. What CBC provides Canadians is a cheering section for the US Democrat party. That they feign no attempt whatever for balance demonstrates that they know they can get away with their excesses, as management shares their world view.
I watch them only to check on their reporting and am shocked by the outright lies they routinely deliver. Example yesterday Paul Wells sniffed that President Trump did not in fact sign any executive orders as he promised; CBC coverage showed him doing exactly that, minutes after 12 noon. This is reported on many other news sources, but CBC doesn't feel Canadians need to know that.
Stay braced for 4 years of intense anti-American coverage from Canada's state broadcaster.

Public-funded fake news Neo. In the USSR they called it propaganda.

The CBC creates these gross lies because there was a virtual black out on Canadian news of the event - if you were informed enough to see the many live streams on line you would gag at how grotesquely big the CBC lie was - they count on a capture market kept uniformed to pass of bigger and bigger lies.

I noted that in all the slagging of Trump's speech in this hatchet job, they did not dare publish it as this alone would have been a refutation of their spin.

CBC has gone over the top as a fake news factory and now I think dismantling or defunding it has to be an election priority.

i've been doing this for over a decade now... not for profit... or celebrity... but merely as a safety valve to maintain my sanity.

i look around and see... not critical thought, or even common sense... but a sense of mass insanity... a country where we elect a political novice (whose previous existence consisted of being canada's very own paris hilton) to lead the country.

i watch the crowds yelling... "justin, justin... show us your tits!!!" instead of looking for accountability.

i fear for my country.

I don't have one to write to. He's off running for the leadership of the Alberta Progressive Convertible, quasi conservative, maybe LPOC/NDP Party. I'm not sure where any of the 9 diehards of this Party sit on the political spectrum (other than "vote for me & I'll get big paycheck & pension, courtesy of you"), well I should stand corrected; two of 'em are definitely of the LPOC & NDP bent & have dropped out of the race.

Selfie Bhoy hasn't called a bye election (if that's how it works) or the Cons inserted a new MP (if that's how it works). Meanwhile we've been slapped with a Carbon penalty for living & breathing the air & eating food.
