NOTA BENE -- Mr. Kiljabane walked away from 'secure custody' at the William E. Hay Centre where he was a 'youth at risk.' I'm guessing Ms Yare's family might disagree. --
GTA UPDATE -- "Peel police have identified 30-year-old Omar Simpson from Newmarket as the man who died shortly after arriving with critical injuries at a Mississauga hospital on Friday evening. Police initially said Simpson had gunshot wounds but later said the nature of his injuries was unknown." --
Omar is Peel Region’s
eighth homicide victim of the year.
