THIS IS CANADA... DON'T YOU DARE...

...DEFEND YOURSELF OR YOUR FAMILY FROM ARMED INVADERS!insert alt text here
The Crown has withdrawn manslaughter charges against Cameron Gardiner, a 59-year-old man from Collingwood, Ont., who shot and killed two masked men who zip-tied and held him at gunpoint in a chaotic home invasion.
Three masked men forced their way into his home. One was wearing a clown mask; the other a balaclava; and the third had a scarf pulled up to his eyes. One of the men was armed with a sawed-off shotgun.
TWO OUT OF THREE AIN'T BAD:
In the end, two men lay dead in the snow in the backyard, both shot in the chest. They were later identified as Dean Copkov, 52, and Donovan Bass, 42.
ADDING INSULT TO INJURY:
"The Crown originally pursued second-degree murder charges."
Remember, Gardiner spent six months in jail awaiting bail.

The process is the punishment.

NOT AS RARE AN EVENT AS YOU THINK:
Peter Khill must now face the ordeal of another lengthy courtroom trial. This is both sad and distressing. It’s probably also unavoidable in a time where those who don’t know any of the facts stridently insist all court decisions must be rendered based on the race of the victim, not the victim’s actions that directly resulted in their untimely death.
COMPARE AND CONTRAST:
A Lyft driver, who was legally armed, shot a 14-year-old boy in Philadelphia over the weekend, when one of two boys, ages 14 and 15, brandished a gun and threatened the man as the two tried to steal his car.
Like Cameron Gardiner, he chose not to be a victim.

And, as a result, he went home safe to his family.
