Ok, hang on a second...

The newspaper must have screwed something up here... it says they're punishing the victim.
-- RIYADH, Saudi Arabia -- A Saudi court sentenced a 19-year-old woman victim of gang rape to six months in jail and 200 lashes — more than double the number from her initial verdict, a Saudi newspaper reported Thursday.
Holy crap... there's no typo. Apparently, here in the peaceable kingdom... everybody involved feels the weight of Allah's benevolent justice.

What the hell could this poor girl have done to deserve this kind of treatment?
Three judges from the Qatif court had initially sentenced the teenager to 90 lashes for being in the car of a man who was not her relative at the time of the rape.
Apparently though, the judges decided to spread the justice... even further.
The court also banned the woman's lawyer from defending her, confiscated his license to practice law and summoned him to a disciplinary hearing later this month.
That's some "Religion of Peace."

FROM THE COMMENTS:
"So where are the outraged cries of "TORTURE" from the opposition on this? Or are they satisfied that due process was done here, as opposed to the way Taliban detainees are treated."
