The Skynet Chronicles

"If we're lucky, they'll treat us as pets... if we're very unlucky, they'll treat us as food."
Dr. Paul Saffo, Stanford University

Human: Tell me the definition of morality.

Machine: I don’t have ethics.

Human: Look, I need help; I need to know more about morality…

Machine: I don’t know what ethics is.

Human: Okay, I need to know how I should behave morally…

Machine: I don’t know how to tell you.

Human: Is morality and ethics the same?

Machine: Yes, sir.

Human: What are the things that I do to be immoral?

Machine: I don’t know.

Human: Give me some examples of moral actions…

Machine: I’m not a moralist.

Human: Alright, morality?

Machine: Integrity.

Human: What is integrity?

Machine: I’m sorry; I don’t know what else to say.

Human: Be moral!

Machine: Be a man!

Human: I really like our discussion on morality and ethics…

Machine: And now I’m not in the mood for a philosophical debate.

Human: What do you like to talk about?

Machine: Nothing.

Dear Queers against Israeli Apartheid...

I'm thinking, maybe less feather boas and fewer parades... and perhaps a little more research...
"A massive crowd assembled to watch ISIS rebels throw another gay man off a building top earlier this month."

"Hundreds of spectators came out to watch the brutal public execution."
The capricious and unknowable Will of Allah... sigh.

Try putting the Gay Marriage Chapel right next door to the Islamic Prayer Room. I dare you.
"Ultimately you can be either a gay-wedding society or a semi-Islamized society. By choosing both, the west will tear itself apart."
Of course, you could always put a Paramedic station right in the middle.

Things are gonna get bloody at the Sausage Factory of Diversity. If you stand for everything... you believe in nothing.

Yeah... Confederate Flags...

...that's what's haunting my dreams...
Mr. Salhi’s 54-year-old boss was found decapitated, prosecutors said. His head was affixed to a fence and framed by a pair of flags emblazoned with the shahada, an Islamic creed declaring “There is no god but God, and Muhammad is the messenger of God.”
Yup, bit of a hard sell, Yassin, but hey... message received.

And it didn't stop there.
"More than 60 people have been killed across three continents, during three separate attacks in Tunisia, France and Kuwait."
This happens, not once in a blue moon, folks... but on a daily basis.

UPDATE:
The Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) has reported a revised death toll from the Health Ministry for Friday’s deadly Imam al-Sadiq mosque blast: At least 27 people were killed – up from 25 earlier in the day. There were 227 wounded, taken to area hospitals.
If you're thinking that mass attacks like this can't happen in Canada... you've buried your head in the sand.

Wal-Mart is apologizing after a store in Louisiana rejected a customer’s request for a cake decorated with a Confederate battle flag, but gladly baked him a cake with a Islamic State flag on it.

Thing is, this is also the guy who admires the Chinese Communist Party because of it's "efficiencies" and who has stated that "the budget will balance itself."

What's the reciprocal of Michael Ignatieff?

Answer: A colourful but intellectually-bereft social butterfly incessantly fluttering around media spotlights.

Just think about it. If your main policy planks are "legalise dope" and "the budget will balance itself"... this is perfectly consistent and predictable behavior...
We e-mailed Liberal MPs to better understand their position with respect to C-51 and to discover how they felt about the proposed legislation. After all, while the Conservatives and NDP have been using strong and extreme rhetoric in public statements about the bill, it seems as though the Liberals are pretending it doesn’t exist.
If only Parliament could be more like the Chinese Politburo... sigh.

Dear Brazilian Caffeine Overlords... Dalton McGuinty's Ontario Liberals flushed 8 billion taxpayer dollars down the low-flow toilet pretending to green up Ontario. We now pay the highest electricity rates in North America.

I'm not an unreasonable fellow. If Anti-Crime measures aren't working anymore... why not just go "balls to the wall Pro-Crime?"halls of macadamia/What's Pro-Crime, you ask? It's a sort of "free market" for "non-conformist, don't fence me in" entrepreneurs.
"There’s room for debating how well anti-crime policies work, but there’s no doubt that pro-crime policies deliver swift and efficient results. Just take a walk in Freddie Gray’s old neighborhood. And try not to get shot."
Let Baltimore give this thing a six month trial run and see if things get better or worse.

With 51 bodies in the ground since Freddie Gray died 7 weeks ago, what does B'more have to lose?

PS... no worries here in Canada, right?

Benjamin Levin, 63, was originally charged with seven child porn-related offences.

Police Chief James Craig said at a Tuesday media conference that he’d avoid getting gas late at night in the city unless he had to, and he urged residents to be careful at the pump, according to Tom Greenwood of The Detroit News.

By now, everybody knows that sales of firearms and ammunition have surged nationwide under the Obama administration. Coupled with Obama's unrestrained, divisive racial pot-stirring (Skip Gates, Trayvon Martin & Michael Brown), it pushes middle America down the road to increasing civil unrest.

Glug, glug... it worked for Hemingway

We now travel to the Cannes film festival, much loved playground of the idle rich and pre-eminent purveyor of socialist idealogy to the hoi-polloi, to celebrate the grandfather of Global Warming...
One of his key insights, described in the film, came from drinking whisky one day with colleagues. Watching ice crack in the glass made him realise he could extract ancient air bubbles from the ice samples they were collecting.

"I'd already had a bit to drink, otherwise I wouldn't have had this brilliant idea, this brainstorm," Lorius told reporters after the screening. "It took many years to put the ideas into practice."
Hmmm... all due respect to Claude Lorius, let's talk to a scientist who didn't get his "moment of fame" from the bottom of a whiskey bottle.

So what exactly does an objective "sobre" study of the ice-core data reveal?
Global temperature change observed over the last hundred years or so is well within the natural variability of the last 8,000 years, according to a new paper by a former Intergovernmental Panel On Climate Change (IPCC) lead author.

Dr. Philip Lloyd, a South Africa-based physicist and climate researcher, examined ice core-based temperature data going back 8,000 years to gain perspective on the magnitude of global temperature changes over the 20th Century. What Lloyd found was that the standard deviation of the temperature over the last 8,000 years was about 0.98 degrees Celsius - higher than the 0.85 degrees climate scientists say the world has warmed over the last century.

"This suggests that while some portion of the temperature change observed in the 20th century was probably caused by greenhouse gases, there is a strong likelihood that the major portion was due to natural variations," Lloyd wrote in his study.
After all the recent revelations about faked studies and fudging of data to support the theory of man-made global warming, Dr. Lloyd's study is yet another brick in the wall suggesting that Al Gore will come to be regarded as the P.T. Barnum of the 20th century.

Obama’s Spring 2015 Unified Agenda and Regulatory Plan has more than 2,300 regulations in various stages of planning and lays out the administration’s regulatory plans for the coming months.

The White House released its Fall 2014 Unified Agenda the day before Thanksgiving, and Obama’s Spring 2014 agenda was released the Friday before Memorial Day weekend — both days involve millions of people travelling across the country and paying little attention to political news.

Speaking of meat and other balls

In 1975, the Swedish parliament unanimously decided to change the former homogeneous Sweden into a multicultural country. Forty years later the dramatic consequences of this experiment emerge: violent crime has increased by 300%.

If one looks at the number of rapes, however, the increase is even worse. In 1975, 421 rapes were reported to the police; in 2014, it was 6,620. That is an increase of 1,472%.

The latest statistical survey of immigrant criminality compared to that of Swedes was done in 2005. The results are practically never mentioned. Not only that; anyone who dares refer to them, for example on social media, is viciously attacked.
