BUT ARE THERE ACTUALLY MORE BOOTS ON THE GROUND? -- "The union for (unarmed) Special Constables who patrol the TTC says it is not optimistic about staffing levels being increased — and it has not yet noticed a difference. “In total today, we have eight people answering calls, three supervisors, and two more people from the community engagement unit. That is our deployment for today,” said Dariusz Nowotny, VP of CUPE local 5089." --
LET THEM SHOOT UP AT CITY HALL -- "Drug use is common on TTC and GO properties. When you have that you will also have crime, overdoses, unstable behaviour and, of course, danger." --
