No wonder...

...people don't trust the news anymore...those professional journalistsSeriously.

Well, on to today's media-manufactured crisis. It boggles the mind what lengths "professional" journalists will go to these days... (plus, it seems this unfortunate little flower would have acquired a certain amount of immunity to unsettling imagery by now)...wow, just wow

B.C. woman says certain tattoos should be banned for nurses after nightmares from "terrifying’ skull."
Tattoos... the new ebola.

"Quick, somebody call a lawyer!!!"

old white guy says..........tattoos deface one's body and most are far from attractive, but, anyone can cover themselves with whatever cr-p they wish. Freedom is good even if the result looks bad.

I've come to believe , from my observations of biliously tattooed people's behaviors, that subconsciously they have a death wish and the tattoo is a way for police to identify the body when they find it.

i think the issue here isn't actually about tattoos... but whether we should be making public policy based on some random person's fears and anxieties.

frankly, i can't look at this woman's forlorn, vacant seeming visage without immediately thinking "edvard munch"... but that doesn't mean we should enact a law saying that less than beautiful people should wear paper bags on their head in public.

old white guy says..........neo, good observation about policy based on random fears and anxieties because that is pretty much what has been happening for many years now. you can start with every law or rule that is based on the precautionary principle and work backwards. It is why we have so many stupid warnings on packing, ie. contents may be hot, on a cup of coffee. I sure as hell hope it is hot.
