Never a long gun registry around...

...when you really, really need one...

Police say Toronto residents Akins Fortune, 22, and Kibrom Tesfay, 18, are facing several charges, including attempted murder and aggravated assault.

Fortune is also charged with disarming a peace officer and obstructing a peace officer.

Meanwhile, an arrest warrant has been issued for a third suspect, 28-year-old Shaun Davis of Toronto.

Davis is black, 5-foot-8, 140 pounds and has black hair. Police say he is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Because, as everybody knows... taking rifles & shoguns away from farmers, hunters and skeet shooters... will completely eliminate urban handgun crime.

"Davis is black,"

That's "profiling", now police will only look for a black man instead of harassing every 28 year old man in the city.

Where's Johnny Cochran when you need him?

ps... fwiw, no word yet on which gun club these three fine young men belonged to.

Hey, you always forget to mention the thousands of legal handgun target shooters in the GTA, pumping lead into the armour steel backstops in their ultra-safe shooting ranges.

I'm thousands of times safer at the range than I am on the DVP.

"monster says... legal handgun target shooters in the GTA"

you mean like the ones "his blondeness, the ex-mayor" declared war on?
