Hypocritical pre-election opportunism...

From the man who brought you, "I won't raise your taxes."
Premier Dalton McGuinty is scheduled to meet Friday afternoon in Toronto with people who have donated their organs and others whose lives were saved by a donation.

He will announce a plan to eliminate some of the financial barriers associated with living organ donations, including lost income, travel costs and other expenses that arise.
That's funny... is this the same Dalton McGuinty who ducked the chance to actually make a difference to people waiting for life and death transplant surgery just a little while ago?
The Liberals are quickly passing a slew of government bills over the next few days before the house rises and doesn't return until after the October election.

But left to die quietly are 107 private member's bills ranging from declaring the "apple capital of Ontario" to a bill requiring people to fill out organ donation cards before renewing their driver's licences.
Of course it is.

The Liberal Party of Ontario... the bright, shiny appearance of accomplishing something -- without the actual work.
