THE JUSTIN PARTY: Required Reading

From "Party of One," the scary, post apocalyptic Michael Harris fairy story about evil Stephen Harper's "sabre-rattling"...
"The White House, the Pentagon, American and Israeli intelligence, and the IAEA had all come to the same conclusion based on the evidence: Iran does not have a nuclear weapon, is not building one, and has not decided to build one."
Meanwhile, back in the real world...
Lausanne, Switzerland, March 30, 2015 3:55 pm - Iran rejected on Monday ongoing demands by Western powers that it export to Russia its stockpiles of enriched uranium, the key component in a nuclear bomb. “The export of stocks of enriched uranium is not in our program, and we do not intend sending them abroad,” Abbas Araqchi, an Iranian negotiator and diplomat, was quoted as telling the country’s state-run press. “There is no question of sending the stocks abroad.”
Oh, yeah... that enriched uranium.

"Since dismantling the Long Gun Registry, the Harper government has four times delayed rules that would assign serial numbers to guns."
That's funny, EVERY GUN I've ever owned, EVERY GUN I've ever seen, including an octagonal barrelled muzzle loading rifle from the 1800's has had a serial number.

Perhaps Mr Harris is referring to tattooing serial numbers on gun owners themselves? I do know that when I go to Canadian Tire to buy .22 ammunition for my tin can plinker, I have to present my state-issued photo-id Firearms Licence which duly records my every crime against humanity.

Based on “conservative” estimates, a provincial registry will cost at least $30 million to set up, but Thériault acknowledged that the number could fluctuate. “You have to take the time to draw up the legislation, table the legislation, adopt the legislation, all of that. You have to understand that it can’t be done overnight.”
So, no actual tenders and no actual completion date... but Quebec will pay a fraction of the $2,000,000,000 the Federal Liberals pissed away on their not quite functional post-Ghamil Gharbi public relations exercise?

Whaddaya wanna bet that number doesn't "fluctuate" down?

The government took longer to turn over files when it provided any, said more regularly that it couldn’t find documents, and refused a record number of times to turn over files quickly that might be especially newsworthy.

It also acknowledged in nearly 1 in 3 cases that its initial decisions to withhold or censor records were improper under the law — but only when it was challenged.

Its backlog of unanswered requests at year’s end grew remarkably by 55 per cent to more than 200,000.

Of Sinners and Superheroes

So, for two years now, young Elton McDonald, a longtime resident of the nearby Driftwood "community" has been digging a recreational tunnel (storeroom, cave, dungeon?) on property he doesn't own using "borrowed" construction materials and tools (a long term loan, it appears). He has also, in the spirit of entrepreneurship and modern romance, been doing this work under cover of night.

Forgive my suspicious nature, but there seems to be what lawyers would call a strong "consciousness of guilt" here.

In addition to the facts above, when young Elton showed up at Sun News to get his 15 minutes of fame he lied about his identity. Additionally, despite claiming the mantle of responsibility, he deflects any and all possible criminal activity to associates he refuses to identify. He might be lead architect... or just a digger. It depends.

Despite all these apparent red flags, the MSM and, more surprisingly, the Toronto Police service, have chosen to ignore any criminality and re-make Elton into some sort of dashing Robin Hood cum Robinson Crusoe-like symbol.

The media seems to be focussed on Elton's construction expertise. I'm thinking it's a mercy someone caught up to this Frank Lloyd Wrong before his underground barbequing caused multiple deaths by carbon monoxide. Let's not even think about what happens when you put a pick through a natural gas line or a buried high tension electrical feeder cable.

PS... I'm thinking I need a challenge. Anybody know where I can "borrow" a hundred two by eights and a couple dozen sheets of plywood? Oh, yeah... I'll need a generator too. I'll get it all back to you in a couple of years.

"The overview reveals a virtually identical homicide solving rate for Aboriginal women (88%) and non-Aboriginal women (89%). The study reveals that the rate of stranger perpetrated homicide against Aboriginal women is 8%, virtually the same as for non-Aboriginal women (7%).
As tragic as this situation is is (and gawd knows there is tragedy aplenty in aboriginal circles) the evidence clearly indicates that there is no coverup here. No evidence supports that aboriginal women are being targeted by race or that the murders of aboriginal women are being ignored by law enforcement agencies. In fact, some folks would argue that cops focus entirely too much on that demographic...
The incarceration rate of aboriginal men is 11 times that of non-native men; of women, it is 250 times the rate for non-native women.
So what is actually going on here?
It's not exactly going out on a limb to surmise that a significant portion of these murders are domestic violence. 93% are murdered by people they know. 63% were drunk or on drugs. The facts speak for themselves.

12 Billion dollars yearly on Aboriginal affairs

More money isn't the solution... it's where existing monies disappear to...
“It all boils down to lack of services," Band councillor Dean Mitsuing said. "We don't get the same funding as everyone else -- maybe that could have stopped this, we don't have any services on the reserve.”
Wait a minute... apparently, Dean... you do.
Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada lists Makwa Sahgaiehcan as having a fire hall. An access-to-information request by The Canadian Press shows the band was given just over $11,000 for fire protection in each of the 2012-13 and 2013-14 fiscal years.
(h/t SDA)

That $11,000 was more than double the retainer the band were supposed to be paying to the nearby Loon Lake fire department.

The visit comes in the wake of the first state sanctioned beheading under the new King – a brutal practice that was carried out unabated under the reign of Abdullah, for crimes including ‘political dissent’.

While Obama and Kerry make nice with a regime which has a disgusting human rights record, they are skipping the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, to be attended by almost all European heads of state.
Yeah, dude... party like it's 1026.

Barack Obama ducked the Paris memorial and shunned the Israeli Prime Minister... but he'll always make time for a fellow traveller...this is what obama respectsAnd it's not just the President...
U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry hailed Abdullah as “a man of wisdom and vision” and a “revered leader.”
Apparently, Kerry has never met an oligarch he didn't revere. A little digging reveals a harsher truth...women are cattle, right?Let's ask someone who ought to know.
Abdullah, like other Saudi royals, had numerous wives — at least seven, and perhaps as many as 30. One of these wives, Alanoud Al-Fayez, claims her four daughters’ supposed incarceration, which has gone on for some 13 years, was both a mark of Abdullah’s vindictive streak and intolerance of his daughters’ modern, independent upbringing. She says the four have been locked away for more than a decade, subject to abuse and deprivation.
Even that won't stop Barack Obama from rushing to the Muslim Holy Land to pay his respects.

Maybe he can share a prayer rug with Justin Trudeau.

Really, that's the culpable party here... the "dizzy white people" in Florida? Were these nefarious unstable caucasians relentlessly cold-calling random folk here in Brantford, Ontario? That seems unlikely. Could it be that Makayla's parents sought them out? Perish the thought.

What about the hundreds of members of the “Makayla Defence Force” who were prepared to "physically intervene" to prevent actual medical treatment? I thought assisting a suicide was a criminal offense in Canada.

A couple of questions... if Jesus had already zapped the cancer, why the wheatgrass enemas... (more to the point, is Canadian wheatgrass so sub-par that you wouldn't consider funnelling it up your nether parts?) I'm also curious whether the Canadian healthcare system ponied up for this cross border bowel cleansing. As for aboriginal rights, will there now be a Royal Commission on shaman based healthcare?

Although it's possible that being killed for your "bling" is more of a caricature...
TORONTO - Mohammed and a friend — a man wearing a “tremendous amount of expensive gold jewelry” — visited the restroom where they were attacked by three men who tried to snatch the friend’s chains, homicide Det.-Sgt. Gary Giroux said about a week after the slaying. “A violent struggle ensued” and Mohammed helped his friend break free from his assailants, Giroux said.

The two pals headed to the front of the restaurant, which was filled with upwards of 60 patrons at the time. The attackers followed, gunfire erupted and Mohammed was killed.

Marcus Gibson, 22, and Ceyon Carrington, 28, both of Toronto, are now each charged with first-degree murder and other related offences, police said.
Which raises the question... is it racism... IF IT'S FACTUAL?
Blacks are about 14% of US population; but young black men are about 13% of the total black population. So, 13 X 14 = 1.82, less than 2% of our population commits more than half of all American gun murders.
If this math is correct it is truly mind-boggling.

Al Sharpton loses his mind...

...about the racist Academy Awards...
“The lack of diversity in today’s Oscar nominations is appalling ... With all of the talent in Selma and other Black movies this year, it is hard to believe that we have less diversity in the nominations today than in recent history."
I dunno Al. Could there possibly be some other reason Selma didn't get the gold ring? liar, liarShould this movie be allowed to "Tawana Brawley" its way to the top? If race hustler Al Sharpton is on one side of an issue, surely any reasonable person should be planted firmly on the other.

Is it just possible that members of the Academy objected to a fabricated fairy tale posing as an historical document?
There was no shortage of real white villains in the Selma controversy, but LBJ was not one of them. This portrayal depends upon a complete misrepresentation not only of the facts, but also of specific conversations that King and Johnson had during this period.

Selma shows LBJ in this period not only refusing to meet any of King’s demands, but also enlisting J. Edgar Hoover to try to discredit and destroy King. Hoover had in fact taken these steps months before, and LBJ had been appalled by them.

Like John and Robert Kennedy before him, he was terrified that Hoover would successfully discredit King and set back civil rights for years.
And what about actual facts?
"In fact, Selma was LBJ's idea, he considered the Voting Rights Act his greatest legislative achievement, he viewed King as an essential partner in getting it enacted - and he didn't use the FBI to disparage him," Califano writes in an opinion piece for The Washington Post.

He says the movie is so far off the mark that it should be "ruled out this Christmas and during the ensuring awards season".

Mark K Updegrove, an author, historian and the director of the LBJ Presidential Library, agrees.

Writing for Politico, Updegrove says films based on true events often massage the truth in order to create a better narrative, but historians should step in when that narrative doesn't represent the spirit of what actually happened.

The absence is symbolic of the lack of American leadership on the world stage, and it is dangerous. The attack on Paris, just like previous assaults on Israel and other allies, is an attack on our shared values.
