You know... like cooking & eating...

...your enemy's heart to acquire his valour...

The ministers stressed that “Quebec recognizes Aboriginal traditional knowledge” and invited Picard to meet to discuss collaboration on “new ways of doing things.”
What... you think I'm kidding?

Think again.

Neo - where the aboriginal traditional knowledge can come into play is in their memory of animal migration patterns and other information that comes from many centuries of living off the land and having to know what food was available where. And it's not always welcomed by scientists; there has been considerable conflict between the environmentalists who insist polar bears are seriously endangered and the locals who live near the beasts and who know very well there are lots of bears.

A fair bit of the knowledge may be "wrong", but I'd listen to them rather than environmental types.

"frances says... their memory of animal migration patterns"

no offence, frances, but to quote a previous commenter

history bullshit... Christopher Pauchay couldn't
even remember where he left his kids

Pretty much sums it up Neo
They do know things that someone living in constant touch with nature does not.
If and that is a big IF they live a hunter-gatherer lifestyle off the grid.
Pickup truck, ATV, outboard motor, skidoo kinda gets in the way of all that.
But hey we are not allowed apparently to question that or even hear about it.
"Different ways of knowing" makes term exams not at all necessary.
Really?
So grasshopper, why do all the wolves howl at once?
What does that tell you?
For good or bad the 18th century came to North America, like the Romans we are hated by some for it, love the free money etc.
Nobody really wants to go back to 1000 BC

Reg: All right, but apart from the sanitation, medicine, education, wine,
public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health
,
what have the Romans ever done for us?

Attendee: Brought peace?

Reg: Oh, peace - shut up!
