A "made for CBC" dilemma

What happens when an unstoppable sacred cow collides with an immovable perennial grievance?
blowed up real good**********

FROM THE COMMENTS:

Coverage schedule:

1). Gay issues, gay issues, hate crimes and gay issues.

2). Turn victim into a saint.

3). Allow coverage to slowly morph into the issue at the heart of the problem: the larger intolerant society.

4). Somehow blame Tories. Find old clips from the gay-marriage debate.

5). Somehow blame religious groups.

6). Flip coverage to contributing factors from the long-standing neglect of our First Nations, and blame Tories for this as well.

7. Factor in all the 'over representation' of First Nations in prisons.

8. Blame Tories.

anon... the only thing i'd take issue with here is your observation about the "the larger intolerant society."

at no time in recent memory have gay citizens been more 'tolerated"... or as is evident in certain quarters like the msm... revered.
