Google said Wednesday it forgot to mention that it included a microphone in its Nest Secure home alarm system, the latest privacy flub by one of the tech industry's leading collectors of personal information.

The company said in a statement that the omission was a mistake. "The on-device microphone was never intended to be a secret."

So IF google, facebook etc are truly monitoring the net in attempts to interfere with conservative viewpoints, what better way to make this highly effective than to monitor conversations in real time.
Yeah right I'm gonna trust anyone with that power; Stalin would be chortling in his grave with the thought of this sort of power.
The only requirement would be a whack of computers and software to alert minders to the use of trigger-phrases.
Hey google, notice my emphasis on IF,just hypothesizing here.
