Too many Chiefs...not enough...

...adult supervision...

Now, almost a year after the killing of Teresa Robinson, 11, in a remote northern Manitoba First Nation community and under pressure to solve the case, RCMP investigators are trying to gather DNA samples from about 2,000 local men and boys.

The DNA sweep comes as Ottawa is gathering feedback on the design and scope of a national inquiry into the 1,200 indigenous women and girls who have been murdered or went missing in the past 30 years.

Aboriginal women make up only four per cent of Canada’s female population, but accounted for 16 per cent of all women murdered in 1980-2012.
Yeah, Justin, you call that "missing aboriginal women" enquiry. I'm thinking it just might not give you the very specific answer you're looking for.

UPDATE: That's a 50 million dollar enquiry, right Justin?
Parallel to the findings of the 2014 Overview in which most homicide victims had a previous relationship with the offender, the 2013 and 2014 RCMP data reveals that the offender was known to the victim in 100% of the solved homicides of Aboriginal women in RCMP jurisdictions, and in 93% of cases of solved homicides of non-Aboriginal women.

Violence within family relationships is a key factor in homicides of women, and has prompted the RCMP to focus intervention and prevention efforts on familial and spousal violence.
Release the Kracken!!!!

Does the FNHC mission statement include a "Hooters clause" regarding "hiring hot chicks?" I wonder how our feminist PM feels about that.

Internal Health Canada documents report that the organization has directed amounts as large as $5-million to programs with “no clear rationale,” and for activities “to be determined” later. Meanwhile, more than $4-million received by the FNHA since 2007 could not be accounted for at all.
Remember... these are the folks that Prime Minister Care Bear just exempted from regular financial audits, because... "racism."

I also recall Harper was demonized for attempting to extend charter rights to reserve/treaty natives - I guess so these women and children who suffer under the Neolithic culture norms could have some shelter in law - but naww, Harper's a racist/homophobe bla bla bla - go back to the apartheid ghettoization/and political exploitation of first nations - Progs like that, makes life so much more easy when you bury moral duty as "racism"

a few statistics...

almost half of all children living in foster care in 2011 were aboriginal.

infant mortality for quebec babies born of inuit mothers tops infant mortality in somalia.

and finally...

"The rate of deaths from injuries is 3 to 4 times higher for Aboriginal children than for other children in Canada."

can't wait for the results of that enquiry.

But the TO Star and CBC consistently paint them as a proud moral people corrupted by white colonizers - but that was 200 yrs ago - why has there been no progress?

The answer is the same as it is for inner city black America - they as a group are kept in a welfare plantation/gulag which requires self imposed apartheid and slavish support of the leftist politics which keep the welfare funding taps open

Do you really think Natives and Blacks would be perennial welfare basket cases and social misfits if they voted conservative? Liberals would view them as escapees from the Lib multicult ghetto and disown them.

Remember that James Bay reserve the media made such a flap over has a Dipper or Lib MP for ever - didn't help much did it.

apparently only 35% of aboriginals live on reserves. the 12 billion dollars per year we pony up to aboriginal chiefs just disappears into their own pockets and those of family and friends.

as long as we support this corrupt system, nothing will ever change.

"At least 80 aboriginal chiefs and band councillors made more money last year than Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and at least 200 were paid more than their provincial premiers, according to newly released federal figures."

Sorry if I was too general, I was referring to reserve natives , I know many off-reserve natives and have worked with a few - decent working class citizens like everyone else.

You're correct about the reserve chiefs - Harper tried to breakthe corruption on reserves, but like everything he did it was a half effort.

stephen harper brought in legislation which would have required aboriginal bands to post their financials and be audited just like other canadian citizens.

pm pompador just repealed that legislation. that's a crime in itself.
