Six of one... a half million...

...of the other...

"Nationwide, about 440,000 birds are said to be accidentally killed at wind farms each year, as well as thousands more bats. With the government pushing for more wind energy farms, that statistic is likely to rise."

Funny how a few dozen ducks die in a tailings pond at the oil/tar sands, and the whole world erupts, millions of birds and bats die in windmill farms around the world, and not a peep of outrage.

I guess folks have to be told by their betters when to be outraged.

By "betters" I mean every shithead who ever made faces on the silver screen.

In California,I believe if one shoots a golden eagle, the fine is $10,000 and jail time a very real probability.

But, there is no outrage over the golden eagles being killed by those wind farms.
And how about the farmer that had to get a fishing license to get rid of the fish that on his land due to the floods.

Not to mention the fact that wind farms are eyesores.
