Geek me out

So maybe... just maybe... it ain't all about carbon capture after all...

“If we are right,” Hill concluded, “this could be the last solar maximum we’ll see for a few decades. That would affect everything from space exploration to Earth’s climate.”

It will be interesting to see if the 'anthropomorphic global warming' is sufficient to ammeliorate another 'Little Ice Age'. Global cooling has historically - at least in the northern hemisphere - been deleterious as crops were poorer. That included hay and grasses, so it was more difficult to keep decent herds of anything.

Some years ago, "Quirks and Quarks" had an author who linked climate patterns with social unrest and other problems. Wish I had the book. Do remember he was quite adamant that cooling = problems.
